Our bees create more than just sweet, nutritious honey

Bees are a critical part of our farm's ecosystem. Not only do they produce an abundance of delicious honey, but they pollinate our field-grown crops and help pollinate surrounding wildlife food sources and habitats. So many native plant and tree species are dependent on pollinators to grow.

Our knowledgeable beekeeper, Pat Harrison of HarBee Beekeeping, is devoted to an environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable local food system. He maintains fifteen colonies on our farm and harvests twice a year.

The honey you'll find on our table at the farmers markets currently was harvested July 18th and August 3rd, 2020, and was jarred by us here at the farm.

We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do!
